This was our last stop on a mini-tour of the Hunter Valley. The estate is absolutely stunning, and we couldn't stop staring and taking photos. I felt that we were a bit rushed by the staff since it was the end of the day, but overall, we had some amazing wines and a fantastic time here.

We went a few weeks back as part of a day tour. We enjoyed our very first ever wine tasting in the Hunter Valley. The general manager was great and very knowledgeable (he spoke really fast!) We only bought one bottle but should have bought more! Would love to visit again in the future.

Beautiful herby Cab Sav, Sweet Shiraz and surprised by the Iron Gate's sparkling wines 🍷 We came away with 2 bottles of Blanc de Blanc and Sparkling Rose, and that says something as my husband is not a sweet tooth and is not usually into sparkling wines. Can't wait to enjoy these beautiful wines with our cheese board 👌 Separate, thank you to Gav for being so down to earth, knowledgeable, and helpful 🙏 The Cellar Door itself makes you feel like you are in Spain ✨️

Great experience! We got a really good introduction to the wine making basics and afterwards we got to taste some of their best wines. Whenever we had some questions, the guide answered them very clearly and she even gave us an extra glass of high class wine (the primera reserva cabernet sauvignon). Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful tour of the winery here at Iron Gate Estate Winery. We had a wine tasting of seven different wines ranging from the Whites, Rosé and the Reds (some sparkling, some non-sparkling) The guide was very friendly and very clear in her explanation. We learned a lot about wine making, wine storage and wine tasting techniques during the visit.

Great spot for wine tasting. Cathy is a lovely host and very knowledgeable with all the details about the wines we tasted. Excellent customer service ! , would recommend this winery to any one coming to Hunter valley for wine tasting.

11/10 tasting experience. I loved all of the wines that I joined up. The staff Mandy and Gav were amazing. I can’t fault the wine, really lovely and smooth. They gave us tasting notes as well which was always helpful when we are pairing it with dinner. The outdoor setting is gorgeous, I loved the vineyard there as well. The building is an old Spanish style building which is really stunning. The best part was meeting Vivi. We will be back when we are in the Hunter! This is my favourite vineyard in the Hunter Valley!
